Baltimore artist Karen Janssen brings more than 30 years of experience and a wide range of both style and skill into each project before her. Karen began her formal training as a teen, with private painting lessons, and progressed onto an art major at Penn State University. She completed her degree at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, and continues this education with each brush stroke and line in a life long freelance career.
Specializing in watercolor,acrylics and pen & ink illustration, Karen's style is classical and realistic. She has enjoyed commissions for works both small and large, from spot illustrations to wall murals.
